Our Hawthorn facility is purpose-built for strict segregation of each of our linen service operations. Each stage of processing is undertaken in separate rooms or designated areas:
• unloading
• washing
• thermal disinfection
• sterilisation
• packing
• dispatch
This ensures no cross-contamination can occur and complies with Australian Standards.

Soiled Linen Room To ensure thermal disinfection, our automated plant tracks the time, temperature and chemical composition of the water during each wash process.
This room contains:
• a 100 bag and sorting system for efficient wash control
• two Continuous Batch Washers with a capacity of 1 tonne per hour each
• washer extractors with a capacity of 400kg per hour

Processed linen area All linen, for both the healthcare and hospitality industries, undergoes thermal disinfection for optimum hygiene.

Our plant is programmed for multi-tasking with built-in redundancies so your linen supplies will experience minimal process interruption.

We also carry a large range of spare parts for equipment for unforeseen contingencies.

This designated area includes:
• a Vibra-steamer processing 50 garments per hour
• eight dryers with a 100kg capacity each
• three small dryers to handle standalone items
• two Jensen Prologic sheet ironer processing 850 sheets per hour
• a dedicated small-piece ironer with vacuum feeding and stacking
• two presses
• three towel folders

Theatre linen pre-pack room
This specialised room contains:
• fully equipped sterilising unit
• four pass-through Getinge 65kg steam sterilisers.
• separate and isolated sterile room
• pre-pack and bundling room

Valet dry cleaning facility Dry cleaning is processed in an area separate from the main facility, and with a separate entrance to maintain plant integrity and allow public access.

This facility contains:
• dry cleaning machine
• washer
• dryers
• Z presses
