Information relating to each product’s linen inspection, packaging, sterilisation and the final sterile product is documented.
This includes:
• who packed the contents, where it was packed, and the time and date it was packed
• who packed the sterilising load, the steriliser number, the cycle number, and the date and time it was packed
• who passed the load at the completion of the cycle, the parameters the cycle had undertaken, the date and time of sterilisation
• details of final inspection undertaken before product dispatch
